LICENSED PRESCHOOL

Chipmunk Achievers is licensed as a group child care facility for ages 30 months to 5 years old. As a licensed preschool, we:

• meet Fraser Health Department regulations

• are monitored by the Fraser Health Department to ensure appropriate care is given

• employ only certified and licensed Early Childhood Educators

• are able to access the Ministry of Children support programs and grants

PHILOSOPHY

Chipmunk Achievers is a ministry  of Northwest Langley Baptist Church. We believe that God created children filled with imagination and boundless curiosity and thus we are committed to helping your children discover their unique gifts. At Chipmunk Achievers, children learn through play as we believe that learning should not only be engaging, but fun! Our program includes a unique blend of large and small group activities. Our theme-oriented props help kids to create dramatic play situations. All of our programs:

• foster a love for learning and a love for God

• encourage independence

• empower children to communicate

• build self-esteem.

• equip children to have positive social interactions

• create the foundation for future academic success

We equally value and nurture social, emotional, academic, intellectual and physical development for children. There are many opportunities for ‘public speech’ and negotiation to develop language skills that will prepare children for their Kindergarten experience.
